Well, the time I spend reading lbo-posts on the elections represents some serious waste of time, but as to this I am quite innocent. Since 1965 I have heard the voice of only two presidents or presidential candidates, and those occurred while I was spinning a radio dial and accidentally tuned in to 30 seconds of Reagan back in the '80s and another 30 seconds of Bush a couple years ago. I have never heard the voices of Ford, Carter, BushI, or Clinton. Nor have I ever seen any of them on TV. I have browsed in newspaper articles on the campaign but never read a column or news article in full.
