They really are weird bedfellows in some ways. You're the expert here -- why was Fascism so applauded by some artists (Marinetti etc.), whereas Nazism seems to have been mostly a movement of anti-intellectual boobs (Heidegger and Schmidt notwithstanding)? Is it the crude biologism of Nazism they found objectionable?
