Joseph,

Well, it mattered to you that the piece about Paul was at a PORN SITE. (Suicide Girls is about as "porn" as Playboy). So I thought it might also matter to you that the writer was actually also someone with the WGA who is normally a TV writer. But I guess only one of those things matter to you! ;)

And to Shane Mage, who watched the whole clip of Paul saying he doesn't believe the theory of evolution -- which is what he says -- and then wonders why someone would pick on a pro-civil liberty, anti-war candidate: Well, I wonder why someone would defend a pro-life, anti-evolution, anti-welfare state (anti-minimum wage, anti-Social Security) candidate.

Paul's antiwar rhetoric is up there with any Buchananite isolationist's. I watched the whole "Paul on evolution" clip, too, thinking I'd missed something. I hadn't. Paul says he doesn't believe the theory of evolution is necessarily correct -- the jury is still out on it! -- but he hopes that that wouldn't be a deciding issue in the Pres. election, whether someone believes in evolution. Well, sorry, dude, after 8 years of one of the most religiously regressive administrations ever, these things are important indicators. That and Paul's pro-life stance and hs announcing his saving by Jesus are obnoxious, when compounded with his wish to make America's domestic polciies more like the 19th century.

"But of course belief in the Christian God is scarcely necessary to reject NeoDarwinism as a general model of evolution. NeoLamarckian approaches are powerful alternative explanations for the rapidity of evolutionary change under radically catastrophic stresses. I wonder-- is the tendency of some here to trash a politician who differs from almost all his peers by his antiwar and pro civil liberty statement and convictions somehow a displaced resistance ...."
