He's also a Democrat - and that really is a shock and horror.
When it comes to the Democrats, my Republican friend said it best:
"The Democrats are almost certainly going to win - and you have yet to see the full flower of their incompetence."
If you're going to freak out every time a Democrat is in-competent or half-competent or somewhat distastefully compromised, you are going to spend a lot of time freaking out.
Obama the campaign is, in sum, a good thing. By that I mean that Obama the campaign is only a partial failure by the Democrats to make something of their political advantage.
And that's the best you are going to get from those people.
