You mean they support eliminating monopolistic copyright protections? 
That would be a vanguard position.
Aren't they just fighting for a larger share of an unjust monopoly 
agreement?
I'm only mildly less excited by the writers strike as I would be to see 
shareholders fighting for larger dividends.
