Zimbabwe is one of those countries I do not feel comfortable to deel with (well, that's almost all countries -- I am too familiar with the foreign commentary on Russia to trust media presentation of any country). This does not mean that Mugabe must therefore not be awful -- in my experience people like Gowans are just as mired in their own partail worldview as the opposite camp. It is rather an expression of ignorance. :)
