Afghan President Hamid Karzai opposes US use of its soil to launch a
possible attack against Iran which he wants to be friends with.

"Afghanistan does not want its soil to be used against any country and
Afghanistan wants to be a friend of Iran as a neighbor which shares the same
language and religion," Karzai said in an interview on Monday.
