Yes, no doubt, even the Red Army and the Wehrmacht had many things in common: They were wearing uniforms, usings similiar weapons - guns, artillery, tanks, figther and bomber aircraft - and sometimes even similiar tactics - from digging in in the defence to deep operations and encircelments in the attack.
And quite often they met each other: above all on the battlefield.
