Well yes.  It was just another reason to vote for Labor and work for its victory over the Coalition. However, it'll be next to impossible for Obama and the Democrats to withdraw from Iraq, if for no other reason than by so doing, the hand of the Iranian State would be strengthened.  Of course, there are many other reasons as well.
