I swear I haven't come across such a thick fog of self-righteous piety and bombast since I saw the last of Leo Casey.

Shag is funny. She's also very smart and writes a lot of great stuff. Something like what you quote doesn't bother me; you can defend yourself. I wasn't aware that she "chased" Ravi away - he never complained about it, so this is the first I've heard. But, hey, it's tough in the pros. If that were all she said, I'd be annoyed. But she says a lot more, so I'm not in the least annoyed.

But I get really tired of these chronic assertions about the silly pomos - almost always asserted as a throwaway. If you've got a beef with some actual writers, please name and quote them. Otherwise, go back to telling us why the philosophers of science have gotten it all wrong.

Doug
