You completely missed the point. Mine was about
needless circumlocution and the dense padding-out of
essays and books that "publish or perish"/academia
writing styles evince & encourage. Transparent writing
versus verbal pyrotechnics/blowing hot air, in other
words.
It wasn't anything that implied there weren't systems
of exploitation hidden beneath ideology, or that
writing about such things is silly.
