[lbo-talk] Reichstag photo

What I like about the Reichstagg photo is, the soldiers crawling
around the edges of the roof, overhanging the precipes, and standing
proudly in the background, make the entire scene look like the
conquest of the gargoyles of notre dame. Triumph, but triumph over
ruins. 

I don't think that effect was intended, which makes it more powerful
rather than less.
