In a recent Counterpunch article, Joshua Frank writes:
"[U]nderlying his rhetoric is a brilliant public relations campaign,
orchestrated by DC insiders, that is void of any real substance."*

Really?! Isn't it transparently obvious BHO's campaign is without substance,
indeed that general elections are without substance in general? I think the
proported brilliance alluded to is in fact a symptom of public desire; of the
desire of the "significant" public, i.e.--that people who "support" BHO aren't
stupid or deluded but have a vested interest in keeping things just as they
are. As for the "insignificant" public--they don't give a shit, for the most
part.
