NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg has cultivated the reputation of being an 
"environmental mayor" but is actually promoting the anti-ecological 
projects of the neo-con Manhattan Institute. His latest venture is 
the bulldozing of the famed Washington Square Park in Greenwich Village.
