Because he is Black. A Black man with a real chance to win! Such a man has a ready-made place in the imagination of every African American on the planet. His actual qualities are the products of our imaginations, nothing more, nothing less. People who ask that question - almost always white people - cannot begin to fathom the true depths of Black Nationalism at the very soul of nearly every Black man and woman. Forget their self-described, nonsense definitions: "liberal," "'moderate," "secular conservative," "Christian conservative" - none of which have any corresponding political soulmates on the white side of the spectrum. Just look at the Parade, the Second and Third and Fourth Line down drunk-ass Canal Street. Note that 90 percent of Black folks are stumbling along drunk on the ObamaL'aid - all classes, from Brooks Bros. to brothers from the perpetual down and out.
They call it a Movement - in which case, lemmings are the most organized, disciplined creatures on EARTH.
No white man, not even an expert Jesus impersonator, could become the focus of this desperate Conga-dance to nowhere.
