[WS:] I view it as yet another evidence of hyper-jingoism, fals waving and US-centrism that is widely spread in that socio-economic stratum (i.e. white working class aka "bitter yokels."0 Amerika is their religion and anyone who speaks ill about it (oe even hangs out with those who speak ill about it) is devil incarnate.
Interstingly, this form of hyper-jingoism is largely absent among working class/poor Blacks. I think this (rather than racism) is the main divide between working class/poor whites and working class blacks/poor blacks.
