[WS:] It is a sad day when such conservative trolls make more sense than Democrats who succumb to populism. AFAIK, the "homeowner bailout" they propose has a homey touchy feeling by evoking th enotiion of "home" - but it will primarily benefit investments that went sour, e.g. people buying second homes, refinancing etc. Why should the taxpayers bail out failed investors (even small-time ones) is beyond me.
Ditto for the farm subsidy bill. It is a sad day when I find myself on the same side of an issue as Mr. Bush.
