Just a quick review on Weimar books. Finished Eric Weitz. Good introduction for general interest reader. Best section on waking through Berlin neighborhoods. Weitz has a tendency to note critical detail without following up the point. Example. The routinization and rationalization of work in Seimens---the follow through point was the concept of social order as routinization of all social relations which in turn sets the stage for the militarization of government and society, which in turn makes war the only activity of state, etc...

Just started the Pleukart book. Geoff Eley's Reshaping the Right is execellant detailed and with a lot of follow through. best of the litter so far....
