Carrol ^^^^^ CB: That Switzerland, central international locus of Europe's banks, was not invaded by the Germans in WWI and WWII is evidence supporting the thesis on imperialism that imperialism had become _finance caitalism_, in the sense that finance capital was at the top of the capitalist food chain, dominating industrial capital in some sense. The Swiss banks were pretty special. There were German speakers there , as in Austria. Why wasn't it part of "Greater Germany" ?
