Olberman's rant was heartfelt and passionate, but he left out the one fact that should have been most prominent about Frau Clinton's "assassination" obscenity--the whole situation that exposed Kennedy to the assassins' bullets was due to the egotistic refusal of Eugene McCarthy to withdraw from the race once it had become clear, as it had before California, that Kennedy was not only the best Dumbocratic nominee but also the clear choice of his party. It is this that makes Clinton's egotistic persistence in protracting a lost campaign even when she is thinking assassination (wishfully?) such an unspeakable shame.
