That during his years as POW in Vietnam he was visited by all kinds of shady communist doctors and psychiatrists and was programmed, Manchurian Candidate-like, to be released back into the US, where he would ascend in the world of US politics, and, one US President, his mask would come off, and he would reveal himself to be a mere robotic dupe of the communist Far East?
I asked where this idea came from, and was told it was invented by rabid Bush supporters during the bitter 2000 McCain vs. Bush campaign, when McCain was viewed as a liberal (and even booed at the C-PAC conference when he came onstage!).
