This goes for me too. My experience with the DP doesn't go quite as far back as Carrol's, and much of it has been with local politicians. But I can't get out of my mind the knowledge that when you pull that lever, you're not just endorsing the obvious point that Tweedlebama is nicer and more intelligent than Tweedlecain. You're also supporting, in a very concrete way, a thoroughly vile, destructive and murderous institution -- the Democratic Party.
