Unlike El Busho, the new occupant of the WH is not a dummy. He is actually interested in domestic policy, and he is going to be in charge, not the DLC.

The DLC is not some cabal plotting its next move. It's a membership list of moderate-to-conservative Dems and a think tank with some not very consequential figures. The new Administration is much bigger and broader than the DLC.
