Sometime in the 90s, I saw a bumper sticker I rather liked.
It was on a briefcase, not a car, but OK.

Questions this image raises: are we actually seeing the death of
the American Empire here? Of an economic system? Of some
economic theories or policies?

If it is two down, what's next?

If the Cold War with its Communists for World Domination and
Useful Idiots versus Imperialist Warmongers and Running Dogs
is over, what's the new dialectic?

Certainly there's some stuff going on that transcends the old
labour/capital battles. Unions and companies working together
on issues like trade protectionism or gov't bailouts of various
industries.
