The only problem is that Brown didn't strike down separate water fountains, separate seats at the diner or separate seats on the bus. The only reason the civil right movement arose is because those segregations still existed in full force and law after Brown. That's why they needed to pass the 1965 civil rights act. Brown only overthrew Plessy in re children's education.
