Elizabeth Warren, the Harvard bankruptcy expert (whom Doug interviewed on his radio show: http://www.leftbusinessobserver.com/Radio_1.html#050224 got appointed to the TARP oversight board.
Admittedly, a wet blanket might point out this isn't an Obama appointment, it's a congressional appointment, and it's only one seat out of five, but still, c'mon. It may not be huge news, but it's cheering. And Harry Reid appointed her, of all people. I didn't know he had this in him.
