Some of the most misanthropic people I've ever met were PETA activists. 
Incredibly self-righteous as well. Anyone watch that Ingrid Newkirk docu? 
Jesus, what a tool. I love the scene where she's lecturing a young black man 
about the way he treats his dog. Apparently, Newkirk didn't notice the 
conditions the young man lived in, or didn't care.
