Does anyone know what reasons Lancelot Hogben gave for no longer considering himself a socialist? I am not talking about turning his back on Marxism, per se (one can understand how he would consider it a religion in those days) but socialism.
I am reading, with great pleasure, his "Mathematics for the Million" and the man sounds like Plekhanov, only better.
