It seems like not being able to see what you type might be impeding your participation. There are a few different choices about things that can be done about the problem.
The costs range from free (adjustments in control panel display, different choice of browser, internet based screen reader) to pricey ($800-$1200) for screen enlargement software. An employer should help with costs for anyone currently employed; sometimes retirees can also take advantage of license arrangements through their former employer. Ease of use also varies: in some cases there can be a steep learning curve.
