And while we are at that, what is it extactly that may change something in these places, and why is it that Obama is in a position to do it but not going to do it? Expecting the man to do the impossible (like changing gang-and-violence infested neighborhoods) is neither a realistic nor fair way of judging him, no?

Again, realistic expectations are the key to judging Obama candidacy. If one has them, Obama is a great candidate, if not - anything can be said about him, but it is not worth the paper on which it is written. Wojtek
