In the US being white and rural while on the Govt. teat means you must 
complain the loudest about being anti-Govt.
Alaskans in general believe they are mavericks who don't need Uncle Sam 
without realizing what a complete shithole Alaska would be if not for 
the Federal Govt.
Far right-wing states are the ones that receive the most federal monies. 
Montana, Idaho, Alaska are all perfect examples of this.
