Few pleasures are as exquisite as the shock of terror felt when you see the sun's true face for the first time.
The illusion of ownership is shattered. 'Well, there it is' you think, 'this fusion reaction which seems so tame at a distance and understandable when described via maths on a white board. There it is, this massively wild thing.'
You scarcely seem to exist at all in its luminous shadow.
