If you were to listen to FOX News all day, you would think Obama is a 21st century Lenin, marching America perilously towards some sort of socialist Hell.

In reality, Obama is exactly the president that many of the Founding Fathers of America had in mind. Not by ethnicity, but by temperament. Alexander Hamilton, the pro-banking ideologue who wanted to make America into a Utopia of industrial commerce -- and who first occupied the seat now inhabited by faithful student Timothy Geithner -- wrote:

"All communities divide themselves into the few and the many. The first are the rich and the well-born, the other the mass of the people...The people are turbulent and changing; they seldom judge or determine right. Give therefore to the first class a distinct permanent share in the government...Can a democratic assembly who annually revolve in the mass of the people be supposed steadily to pursue the public good? Nothing but a permanent body can check the imprudence of democracy."
