I notice that each time I resubscribe I create work for Doug (and/or  
Jordan?). Here is my plan for the future:

1. visit the LBO-talk web interface:

    http://mailman.lbo-talk.org/mailman/listinfo/lbo-talk

2. Scroll all the way to the bottom and in the last box enter your email

    address and click "Unsubscribe or edit options".

3. Enter your password. If you don't remember it, click on "Remind" at

    the bottom of the page. BTW, at this point, if you would just prefer

    to unsubscribe, you can click on the Unsubscribe button.

3. Once you know your password, enter it in the Password: field and

    click on Log in.

4. In the page that comes up, scroll down to the grey section and set

    "Mail delivery" to disabled. Scroll all the way to the bottom and

    click on "Submit My Changes".

When you are read to get back on, repeat this process, except reverse  
step 4.
