It is, as they say, no accident that the greatest defenders of  
Robespierre (Mathiez, Lefebvre) were also, as members of the French  
Stalinist party, apologists for the Moscow Frame-up Trials.  I've  
never heard of anyone accusing Robert Frost of that.
