That makes a lot of sense. And then it would also make sense that it was constantly streaming in through your phone, to be ignored or acted on as the mood of the moment moved you. You seem to be suggesting that the key to understanding this part of twitter is that it is a set of alerts for available chats, part of a twitter-phone system.
You Twitterers out there -- do you actually call people on this basis? Because you're in the mood to chat, and because of their tweet you know this person is up for it too?
