[lbo-talk] let's argue about the cause of mental illness

The assertion that depression (or any mental state) is a result of brain chemistry is true but vacuous. It is parallel to the claim that seeing the sun is the result of stimulation of the optic nerve. True, but it leaves something out that is kind of important.
