The basic premise is how the nature of society impacts health, mainly in
the ways of how it conducts its nurturing and sharing and as measured in
the gap between the rich and the poor.

So, the short answer is yes our society is making us sick and crazy. He
goes on for the rest of the hour with many empirical studies to make his
points.

He's worth tracking down on google and reading other articles in the
same general direction. Neoliberalism's class war is killing us. It's
one thing to say this, and another to demonstrate it with
epidemiological studies in medicine.
