Are we sure that this Ed Champion guy is not an alter ego for McLemee? I could almost imagine McLemee writing that sort of thing about himself.

I like McLemee's writings, but I could probably snark the shit out of some of his stuff. What's great about this particular rant is that Champion manages to sound like a elitist prick by attacking a person who writes for Inside Higher Ed.. I almost feel like congratulating the guy for the feat.
