I really like that Fucked Up album, it is my kind of punk... long jammy tracks, at some points it almost sounds like krautrock!

I saw Dunedin's Die! Die! Die! last night in Sydney; they're in a similar vein, influenced by Sonic Youth as much as hardcore. Musically, I like this stuff more than straight punk, but I do like the broader punk culture, that stuff was pretty politically formative for me way back in high school.
