[lbo-talk] From the prison industrial complex front

Thousands of children imprisoned, I see the corrupt judges are reported to be facing 7 years jail. (They should be hung, drawn and quartered!) But the report says nothing about what will happen to the the executives, employees and shareholders of the private prison. They deserve nothing less than to have their assets confiscated and to be enslaved for life, for their crimes. In fact, simply being the shareholder of a private prison, seeking to profit from such activity, warrants harsh penalties, to knowingly (or even unknowingly) profit from corrupting the judicial system to imprison children so as to increase profits is inhuman.

The scum who invest in such rackets should be shot like rabid dogs.

Two US judges charged with taking more than $2m (£1.4m) in kickbacks from a privately-run detention centre have pleaded guilty to fraud.

Prosecutors say Judges Mark Ciavarella and Michael Conahan took the money in return for giving young offenders long sentences to serve in the centre.
