One of the final interviews with The Cramps (Lux & Ivy), before Lux died of "aortic dissection" (as horrible as it sounds). The heart literally rips.

Lux is like 60 years old in this interview, above.

But he and his wife of 36+ years (!!) are as down-to-earth and un-pretentious here as other folks (Rollins, et. al.) have said. If American culture doesn't recognize Lux as being one of the best rock n' roll musicians ever, in the next 15-20 years, it's America's loss.

The interviewer is annoying at first, but asks Lux about his metal teeth. I saw the metal teeth the last time I saw The Cramps live a few years ago and wondered if I was drunk, hallucinating, or what. He was swigging on a bottle of red wine which made his gold metal teeth look black. Very frightening.

I don't think a lot of people realize what has been lost with his passing. Meh, I can't brag about him enough. "The hottest thing from the north to come out of the south."
