[lbo-talk] great movies -- was: "great" "conservative" movies

I know I'm in the minority but I really enjoyed that version of Dune. Wonderful sets, lighting and costuming. Interesting but disjointed dialogue however the story itself is too compressed to prevent the dialogue from suffering this way. They were simply trying to put too much into the film. It would have to be a 4.5 hour film to do the story justice.
