Bit of a quibble, but after yesterday's NYT article about "the lessons 
of Lebanon":

"...all cellphones have been confiscated from Israeli soldiers..." and 
"...there has been a much stronger effort to control the message and 
mask Israeli intentions. To that end, the cellphones of soldiers were 
confiscated..."
