I ain't read it, but in one of his "books," Obama reports on having gone to a Socialist Scholars Conference in New York while he was at Columbia.
^^^ CB; Yeah, he was a campus left political activist. In one passage, he talks about
two Marxists debating
each other outside of some meeting. Then to become a community organizer coming out
of college based on inspiration from the Civil Rights and Black Power movements.
Wow ! that's left ! His mother seems to have
been a lefty, anti-colonialist thinker, too. Rev. Wright's church is very left.
My impression is that his background is
as left and probably
involves as much
familiarity with Marxism as the people on this list. Just the way he said the word "socialism" when it came up in the campaign. He knows what it is.
