I've been on list nearly from its inception and AFICT, there is a near consensus among its members that both political parties are owned and operated by big business and thus represent interests of business community as well as those of their own (at heart and otherwise) - and that DP is only slightly more sympathetic (or perhaps less unsympathetic) to working class interests than the repugs.
So where did you get the idea of Democrats having the good humanity at heart? I am all ears.
