I'm reasonably sure that a significant number of immigrants to Israel in the 80s and 90s from Eastern Europe, while they have a Jewish grandmother, are in fact Orthodox Christians by faith. Which kind of makes me wonder what the legal status is of a Palestinian who converts to Judaism.
