As it stands now, the so-called international law is either an extension of the US law or interests inasmuch as the US Army is the only power that can act on a global scale (how effectively is a different thing), or beyond that it is a collection of nice sounding principles that are suggestions at best and cover-ups for realpolitik of great powers.
It is all about those divisions that the pope does not have, stupid.
