Once the Democratic Party gets debunked though, Power will just establish* itself someplace else, at little cost--the Church or a socialist party or go back to the Republicans or...who knows. The existence of the Democratic is as legitimate as the existence of Sony or Ford Motor Company. It's an artificial entity that bears a lose relationship to an actual, in the sense of effective, political institution--for simplicity we may refer to this institution as American's class system. Therefore hatred directed at the Democratic Party is misplaced and thus to a large extent squandered, in my view.
*I wanted to say hide, but the depressing fact is do to ideology it doens't really even have to disguise itself very much.
