Of Course. This is what comes of the toothless politics that believes in
persuading people on ethical grounds to do the right thing. The
Insurance Companies write a bill which Congresds passes & Obama signs,
which will make life a bit rougher for many in the U.S. and make
government programs even more of a stink in the nostrils of the public,
thus making it even more difficult to mount serious political movements
for health care and other needed programs.

Morally, the government should not make people dependent on it. It is
morally better to die than to let the government take care of you. Just
as it is immoral to disturb the reveries of good people by putting
before them the image of what gays do in bed. It is therefore immoral
een to talk about gay marriage.
